Instructions for Downloading
How To Build A Computer in 12 Easy Steps!
Please read ALL the information on this page. (Printing out this page by holding down the CTRL key and pressing P will be helpful if you need to refer to it later.)
There are three ways to download.
The preferred method is number 3. The reason we have a number of choices is that your computer may be set up in a way that doesn't allow you to download EXE files. The computer will sometimes view EXE files as suspicious. (For Mac/Linux systems, use the pc_manual pdf file link below.)
-
Just double click the link at the end of this paragraph. Adobe Reader will automatically boot up on your computer. It may take a few minutes before the first page appears. When complete, click the small, black, floppy disk icon just above the page (in the adobe toolbar, not your browser toolbar) and follow the windows’ instructions to download the file to your hard drive.

-
OR, RIGHT-CLICK the above link, select SAVE TARGET AS … and follow the windows’ instructions to download the file to your hard drive. (Usually best to Save is to your Desktop, so you can easily see it.)
-
i) OR, Click PCBuild.exe and then click Save from the dialog box. Save it to your Desktop (easies place to find it after download is complete)
ii) After the download is complete, double-click the downloaded file icon on your Desktop ( or which-ever folder you downloaded to). The program will install the Manual to the C: drive in a folder called PC Trainer.
iii) To view and open the manual, click Start, click Programs, click PC Trainer and then double-click your course manual to open it.
